Competition: Win Camellia Panjabii's "50 Great Curries of India"

If you have read my blog, you will know that Camellia Panjabii's "50 Great Curries of India" is one of my favourite recipe books as it contains 50 authentic Indian curry recipes that are so amazing that my best friend and I call it "The Bible".

  30. Never attempted a curry, the recipes in the books at home are all from the 70s. great for classic british, but other countries cuisine.....slightly less so

  31. My friend Sarb who I shared a house with at university taught me how to make a basic vegetable curry, and I have to confess that I have not strayed from the recipe in the 23 years since! Rather than resort to curry ready meals or eating out when we fancy a change from my basic 'Sarb Curry' (which is what hubby and I currently do!) I want to get a bit more creative with my curry making, and this book would help me do just that!

    Currently the only curry I make is one with a Patak curry paste! So hopefully this would add some authenticity to my curry cooking.

  94. I would love to win this as Indian food is one of the only things i just cant seem to get right. I have other books but they just dont seem to work even though I buy all the ingredients from the specialist grocer on my corner whos shop smells just divine. I would love to cook fantastic curries of India as I love to eat curries! I also would love to read about the diversity of all the types from the different regions of India.

  95. I love curries and since falling pregnant I have found I crave them all the time because I want spicy things. I work with quite a few people from Pune in India who have been giving me ideas on what to cook and this book would mean I have enough recipes for ages!

It is only in the last year or so that i've really got into curries but i know that my husband still considers himself the 'expert' which is crazy as i make them (in fact i'm off to make one now for this evening!!) so if i won this book i would hide it for a while and let him think i was 'experimenting' Haha!! I would tell him in the end though (honest)
